Centuries of war have ripped the world of Ares to pieces. This short time of peace is overshadowed by prophecies of even darker days to come. Splinters of Ares is no ordinary game. Our Morphic World Engine puts the evolution of our world and story in our players' hands.
In Splinters of Ares, all quests can be completed in three or more ways, with each choice affecting the world and its response to your character. If the balance of players on a server make the same choices, it could result in major changes to the way the game is played. Major NPCs can be killed off, removing access to certain quests and valuable items, and entire areas could be opened or razed to the ground.
Splinters of Ares is more than a Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (MMORPG). It’s an original, groundbreaking agile media project that will span multiple films, books, graphic novels and mobile games.
Our team is simultaneously developing content for both the films and the game. So as you play the game, we’ll be paying attention. The choices players make in the game could shape the expanded world of Splinters of Ares in its films and other media.
